The night also included a miniature pony, a large rose hat, and of course, tears. Lace, a twenty-five year old from Colorado attempted at getting Ben’s first kiss. After a small peck, she pleaded to have a longer one with Ben. He awkwardly asked to get to know her better before they move further. Later in the night, Lace felt that Ben had “no interest” in her and cried to herself and the other ladies. She received Ben’s final rose of the night which made her cry even more. She pulled him aside to complain which puzzled Ben. He soon stated in an interview, “I gave her (Lace) a rose, what more could she want?”
