Ronan McGinn, Broadcast Journalism
Ronan McGinn is a senior at Madison High school. Ronan has played baseball and football for four years here at the high school. From an early age, Ronan fell in love with sports. It was almost all he was surrounded by from day one. Ronan’s mom, Leslieanne Wade, served as the senior vice president of CBS sports for the better part of twenty years. She was the first woman to ever hold that role. Ronan’s father, Kevin McGinn played division one soccer at old dominion university in virginia where he earned countless awards and had a successful career. He now works in the sports memorabilia industry for total sports concepts. As, you can tell, sports have and always will be a part of Ronan’s life. Ronan hopes to follow in his family’s footsteps and be in the sports industry. Specifically, sports PR with hopes of becoming a sports agent. Ronan took this class to improve his research,writing and journalism skills.
