High School Musical has been remembered by young girls for ten years. Troy Bolton (Zac Efron) has been a teenage heartthrob since he stepped foot on a basketball court and a stage, all in one movie. Wednesday, January 20th marks the ten year anniversary since the original showing premiered. However, only five of the main six characters will be attending the reunion footage that occurs during the movie. Who won’t be there? Zac Efron. Sam de Poortere explains her frustration, “I’m disappointed that Zac Efron will not be there. It won’t be the same without him”.  Marin Imhoff also chimes in, “I lost respect for Zac Efron after I heard he will not be at the reunion. It makes me feel like he thinks that he’s above it”.
