Alexander Pogrebizhskiy, Broadcast Journalism
Alexander Pogrebizhskiy(17), a senior at MHS, is an avid follower of politics and enjoys debate. Despite being born in New York and raised in New Jersey, Alex takes pride in his Russian heritage and even speaks the language.
Alex manifests his grit in politics through his leadership positions in Harvard Model Congress - Secretary of Housing and Urban Development - as well as non - political dispositions including section leader in band activities. In parallel, Alex´s interest in music directly reflects the creativity he brings to the table whether it is debating a turbulent issue or other out-of-the-box issues.
Currently, Alex continues to explore different perspectives to add to his vast ocean of information supported by his Russian cultural background to consistently bring beneficial information to the table.
