Talent shows itself in different forms. Few people have multiple talents that work together in order to create extraordinary pieces of art. There is one woman that has already taken the music industry by storm and now is becoming an icon in the world of American film. Her name is Stefani Germanotta, otherwise known as Lady Gaga.

Lady Gaga’s recent movie, “A Star Is Born”, alongside her co-star and director, Bradley Cooper, has become a recent sensation. The movie is based off that of the same name starring Judy Garland in 1954 and the later remake, starring Barbara Streisand in 1976. Both of these women are considered to be icons of their time, due to the recent success of “A Star Is Born”, Lady Gaga has also now earned icon status. In addition to Gaga’s superior vocal chops in the movie, her acting is also a force to be reckoned with. Complimented by the talent of Bradley Cooper and genius in his writing and directorial skills, the film serves everything one could want in a musical-drama.

Aside from the raw talent of the two stars, the chemistry between the two is incomparable to any other film in the 21st Century. The tortured love Gaga’s character has for Cooper’s in heart-wrenching, which is obvious from the incessant sobbing that can be heard throughout the movie theater. Both characters are so realistic and connected, without romanticizing any of the subjects that are touched on in the film. Overall, the film is smart, heartbreaking and musically perfect.
