Dodger Hockey won 4-2 last night after an intense game against Parsippany Hills.

In the first period Aaron Willsea and Kyle Midlige both scored goals. The second period ended without either team scoring.

The third period was where the game got interesting. After multiple controversial calls by the referees, the parents in the stands were riled up. The referee had to shush their outcries. Parsipany Hills and Madison both scored another goal making the score 3-1. Then the unthinkable happened. Parsipany Hills got a penalty shot. With the score now at 3-2, the fans were holding their breath to see if the Dodgers could keep up the lead. Parsippany Hills traded out their goalie for another offensive player to help them score. Jimmy Piechnik helped goalie Kavi Sinha save a goal from going in. Finally, Micheal Gleason scored a goal on Parsippany Hill’s open net, ensuring Madison’s win. It was truly exciting to watch.

The boys will play again tonight against High Point at 6:15 P.M. at the Mennen Sports Arena.
