Madison’s back at it again with a spirit week take two. Earlier this year Madison held it’s first spirit week and it was a huge success. The student body has never been so enthused and taken part with so much school spirit. The week before Christmas break, December 16-20th is when the second spirit rush will take over Madison High. Day 1, Monday December 16th, will be a lazy day, where students are encouraged to wear their PJs. Tuesday is holiday or winter hat day. Wednesday is maroon and gold day, carrying over from the last spirit week where dodger pride fills the halls. Thursday is ugly holiday sweater day, and last but not least, will be festive Friday, also holiday themed. Mini prizes will be given out throughout the week to the most enthusiastic participants, with a daily spirit winner crowned. The credit goes to Abi Raymaker and AJ Ding for making this all possible. Spirit has come to life in Madison, let’s make the spirit live on! Also during this week is the Candy Cane Can Drive, so students are encouraged to bring in cans to help the needy.
