Maya Backe is a senior at Madison High School and a student journalist for Dodger Media Online. She is an active member of the Madison High School Student Government, Yearbook, and Girls Golf team. When she is not baking or serving cupcakes at Crowley's Cupcakes in Madison NJ, she loves to take her one-hundred-pound dog for car rides. A New Yorker by blood but Madisonian at heart, Maya hopes to find herself studying at a large and diverse university, far from what she knows. Maya has had an interest in film since childhood, ranging from raunchy reality television to critically acclaimed films. Hoping her time at Dodger Media Online will give her some clarity as to what future career she might like to pursue, Maya is excited for her final year of high school and eager to start working.
