In the initial clash against Kinnelton, the team faced a tough challenge resulting in a 0-5 scoreline. Despite the score, Kyle Piechnik remains optimistic, stating, “I think we played better than the score showed. Kinnelton might not be the strongest team we’ll face this year, so it’s a good confidence booster for us.”
The second game against Paramus Catholic proved to be a significant turnaround, with a resounding 11-1 victory. Sam Gero sees this as a great opportunity for the team, noting, “It was a great second game to have. It allowed the freshmen to get more comfortable on the ice”
Looking ahead to upcoming games, the team’s commitment extends to spending lunch periods in the coach’s classroom, showcasing the team’s dedication to strategy and unity.
