Junior and Michigan commit Lindsay Catchpole scored a hat trick and achieved her 100th career point in a win against Whippany Park last Monday.
The captain scored 3 goals in just the first 6 minutes of the game. Her 6 minute hat trick set the early tone for the remainder of the game as they defeated Whippany Park 7-1.
“We were working really well as a team, Whippany park isn’t historically known for being good at field hockey, it was just a great chance and opportunity for our team to practice our skills.”
The Michigan commit shows why she is a captain by not crediting herself, but crediting her team.
On another note, Catchpole also scored her 100th career point and when asked about it she said, “Of course I was really excited about my 100th career point, but I was also happy how well the team was working together.”
Catchpole’s 100th career point is a great milestone only a few players reach, and it reflects not only her scoring ability but also her consistency and leadership throughout her young career.
With the milestone behind her, Catchpole is focused on helping her team continue to build momentum as they head deeper into the season, and hopefully coming out on top as Madison has high hopes for the State Title.
