Fans are calling Bronny James the worst player in the NBA. After witnessing his first few preseason games and first regular season game.
Lebron James is one of the most famous basketball players of all time and many consider him the greatest player to ever step foot on the court. The question on many fans’ minds is not if Lebron is good, it’s if his son can live up to his legacy.
In his first game Bronny scored zero points which is a disappointing start to his season. Bronnys next game against the Milwaukee Bucks wasn’t any better since he didn’t score any points. Bronny was able to continue this trend with his next game against the Milwaukee Bucks. However in Bronny’s third game against the Golden State Warriors Bronnys third game he was able to score two points which shocked many fans.
Bronny has been getting noticeably better though in his fourth game Bronny doubled his points from the previous game boosting him to a season total of six. In Bronny’s fifth and final preseason game he was able to score seventeen points which is a noticeable improvement and left many fans hopeful.
Bronny’s most recent game was his first regular season game where the Lakers took on the Minnesota Timberwolves, Bronny ended this game with zero points. Many are quick to add that Bronny only played for three minutes so it is not unrealistic for him to not score any points.
Magic Johnson had this to say about Bronny James’s showing in the NBA, “If i’m Bronny I would tell my Dad just let me play in the G league all season so that I can develop he doesn’t need to be sitting on the Lakers’ Bench and not playing…he’s just not ready, he needs to develop more because he has some great talent and skills but he needs to develop those skills at a much better clip if we wants to play 15, 20 minutes a night in the NBA or more.”
Many people are rooting for Bronny but they do not believe that the NBA is the best place for him. They believe that if Bronny is given more time and joins the league when he is ready he may be a good player, but as of now he doesn’t have what it takes to play in the big leagues.
