The MHS girls volleyball team plans to better their record from last season and thinks they have the capability to do it.
MHS girls volleyball has started off their 2024-2025 season off with a bang. Though the team lost their first game they were able to turn it around and win the next three consecutive games.
The teams 2023-2024 season started off in a very similar way this current season with the girls losing their first game, but winning the next three. From their previous season the team lost many key seniors such as Angelina Christoffers, Izzy Hunter, and Olivia Bruno.
However the team has new players that are ready to fill the roles left by the seniors, junior Sophia Christoffers was able to keep pace with the lead players in stats last year and Junior Eva Errinchetti led the team in assists last year.
The team’s next game is against Kinnelon which is a team they lost to twice last year, but the team feels ready to put up a good fight.
Junior Eva Errinchetti had this to say about the 2024-2025 season “I would say that the start of the season was a little bit rocky from the huge amount of seniors we lost last year but we are getting back on track and growing together as a team.”
