College Championship Football Game

On January 10th at 8:00 pm EST, the College Football Championship of 2021 will commence. The Georgia Bulldogs will be facing the Alabama Crimson Tide. Taking place in Miami, Florida, this anticipated game is one for the ages. It is expected that over 10 million viewers will be tuning in to watch this showdown happen.

The question, however, still stands, who is going to win? While anything can happen, there are quite a few things that make this championship unique compared to previous years and can give us some hints as to who will be victorious. For starters, the last time these two teams faced off in a championship was in 2018.  Alabama rose victorious by a three-point margin. The last time that Ohio beat Alabama in a matchup was in 2007.  That makes this match-up an even higher-stakes championship game. However, seeing that this is the familiar territory between the two teams, this match truly is a toss-up.

College Football and the NFL are often compared to each other. Although the NFL has more recognition, due to the iconic super bowl, this game is not expected to disappoint! There is a lot riding on this game. Lots of tension will finally be put to rest tonight, but the feud between Alabama and Georgia that has lasted for so many decades will surely continue on regardless of the result.
