Danny Geier – The Ideal Student

A plethora of books from a student’s backpack

Danny Geier is an exemplary student at Madison High School. He’s known to be one of the most compassionate and energetic people in the halls. He’s been an avid football player since the 8th grade and has been playing baseball since he was 5 years old. He got into those sports because of his parent’s love for them and hasn’t disappointed since then. In his 8th grade seasons he won the Seniors Division League and had a record of 7-2 in his football season. He’s had Tom Brady and Babe Ruth as his role models since he started.

We asked his old friend, George Csatlos, to tell us more about our man of interest. George gave us a heartfelt description of Danny with a story from when they were younger. Danny is “nice, very nice”. He’s personal and caring and “can sometimes be a little too much”. He’s relaxed and outgoing and in his football experience with Danny, he would “always go for interceptions. He’ll get there eventually”. He’s an overall positive person with a lot to give to his environment.

George told us about how when they were little, Danny was a very creative boy. He had a mini hand puppet theater in his basement with puppet Harry Potter characters. The boys had the great idea to throw all of the puppets onto the roof of Danny’s house. George had the privilege of throwing Ron Weasley and Professor Snape on the roof. According to Danny and George, they were heartily yelled at by Mrs. Geier.

From my experience with Danny, he seems like a very genuine, smiling, wholesome guy. He’s got his head on his shoulders, and is more than happy to lend a helping hand. I have heard nothing but positive things about this man, which is what makes him the perfect student and friend for any high school.
