As teenagers, television is a huge part of our lives, and despite the fact that we all have shows we rewatch over and over again, we’re always looking for new ones to get into.

This fall there are a lot of brand new and highly anticipated tv shows premiering. Here’s a list of the top 15 fall premieres people are most excited about:

 

  1. Blood & Oil

Blood & Oil is a new ABC drama co-starring Chase Crawford (Gossip Girl), and Don Johnson (Miami Vice). The show is about two different couples (one rich, one looking to get rich) during the current oil boom in North Dakota. The show airs on Sundays at 9pm.

  1. Ash vs Evil Dead

This show is Starz new horror comedy based off the popular Evil Dead movies. It stars Bruce Campbell reprising his role as Ashley ‘Ash’ J. Williams from the first two movies. The show premiers on October 31.

  1. Angel From Hell

Starring Maggie Lawson (Psych) and the ever popular Jane Lynch (Glee), this CBS comedy is about a woman named Allison who meets another woman who claims to be her guardian angel. The pilot airs on November 5.

  1. The Muppets

This new Muppets revival stars Eric Jacobson (The Muppets) as Miss Piggy, and Steve Whitmire (The Muppets) as Kermit the Frog. This show generally has mixed reviews, as some are tired of new Muppets media, and others are excited for a new Muppets tv show. Nevertheless it has plenty of positive reviews, and airs on Tuesdays at 8pm on ABC.

  1. The Player

An NBC drama thriller starring Philip Winchester (Strike Back) as ex intelligence officer Alex Kane and Wesley Snipes (Blade) as the pit boss known only as Mr. Johnson. This is the show Blade fans are all raging about, as well as the return of their beloved Wesley Snipes. The Player airs on Thursdays at 10pm.

  1. Code Black

Code Black is a CBS drama about an LA County Hospital emergency room staff, and all the difficulties they face. It stars Melanie Chandra (Love, Lies and Seeta), and Benjamin Hollingsworth (The Joneses) and airs on Wednesdays at 10pm.

  1. Limitless

Limitless is a tv spin off of the popular 2011 Bradley Cooper movie, Limitless. It is highly anticipated by fans of the movie, and has an incredible 8.5 on IMDB. Limitless airs on CBS on Tuesdays at 10pm.

  1. The Best Time Ever With Neil Patrick Harris

TBTE is a new variety show starring How I Met Your Mother’s Neil Patrick Harris. Harris and ‘sidekick’ Nicole Scherzinger (The X Factor). The episodes air on Tuesdays at 10pm on NBC, and so far it has guest starred such talents as Reese Witherspoon, Alec Baldwin, and Tyler Perry.

  1. Supergirl

Supergirl is another series that fans have been anxiously waiting for. Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist (Glee) and Mehcad Brooks (In The Valley of Elah) and will air on Mondays at 8:30pm starting on October 26 on CBS.

  1. The Grinder

The Grinder is a new Fox comedy about  a tv lawyer returning home to run his family’s law firm. It stars Rob Lowe (Parks and Recreation) and Fred Savage (The Wonder Years), and airs at 8:30pm on Tuesdays.

  1. Grandfathered

Grandfathered stars John Stamos (Full House) as a bachelor turned father turned grandfather, and Josh Peck (Drake & Josh) as his newly discovered son. Grandfathered another of Fox’s newest sitcoms and airs on Tuesdays at 8pm.

  1. Scream Queens

Scream Queens is a horror comedy starring Emma Roberts (American Horror Story), and Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween). Scream Queens is the highest anticipated comedy on this list due to its incredible cast (which also includes Glee’s Lea Michele, Zombieland’s Abigail Breslin, and Keke Palmer from True Jackson VP) and darkly hilarious plot. Scream Queens is about an the opening of enrollment into an elite sorority to the public, and the murderer that plagues the house. It airs on Tuesdays at 9pm.

  1. Blindspot

Blindspot is a new NBC mystery thriller starring Jaimie Alexander (Thor), and Sullivan Stapleton (300: Rise of an Empire), as an amnesiac with mysterious tattoos, and the FBI Agent whose name is tattooed on her back. Blindspot airs on Mondays at 10pm.

  1. Quantico

Quantico is a fresh new premise for cop shows. It’s about the lives of FBI recruits as an unknown member of their class is suspected of being a terrorist. It stars Bollywood’s Priyanka Chopra (Barfi!), and Josh Hopkins (Cougar Town) and airs on Sundays at 10pm.

  1. Heroes Reborn

Heroes Reborn is first on the list of most anticipated tv shows of fall 2015 mainly due to the anticipation of fans of the original series, Heroes. Heroes Reborn stars Jack Coleman (Heroes), and Ryan Guzman (Step Up Revolution) among others as the once great sci-fi series makes a comeback on NBC as a 13 episode miniseries. It’s on at 8pm on Thursdays.  

 

Excluded from the list are other highly anticipated shows, such as the X-Files revival, DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow, or Lucifer, based on the fact that those shows do not premiere in the fall of 2015.
