12th Annual 5k is a Success
The 12th annual Madison 5K took place on May 3rd, 2015. It is a fun event for all ages in and around Madison. There were 661 people running in the 5k and 134 in the Kids Fun Run, which is the biggest turnout since the fundraiser has started.
Madison High School students and teachers took part in the 5K. Doctor Ladolcetta, chemistry teacher, girls Track and Cross Country Coach, and an avid runner himself, finished in 14th overall. MHS Junior Noah Buzinkai, finished with the overall fastest time of 17:53. MHS Seniors Neil Grant and Connor O’Keefe both finished before Doc L.
Overall the Madison 5K was a huge success. Special thanks to everyone that helped organize, set up, clean up, or run!
