  • ISIS has destroyed ancient statues in Mosul, torn down the ruins of Nineveh and Hatra, and blown up old churches, mosques, and shrines. During a battle between Iraqi soldiers and Isis over control of Tikrit, the tomb of Saddam Hussein was smashed into rubble, though it is not clear whether ISIS or the Iraqi soldiers are actually responsible for its destruction.

  • A 19 year old male and two 17 year old males from northwest London were released on bail Sunday after being arrested on account of “suspicion of preparation of terrorist attacks”.

  • “The Jinx,” a crime documentary broadcasted by HBO, has uncovered key evidence in the Robert Durst murder case. The HBO team discovered similarities between a 1999 letter that Durst sent to the victim and an anonymous note sent to the police at the time of the killing. Durst’s lawyer advised against participating in the documentary, but Durst insisted on being filmed.
