After months of waiting, the day is almost here. The Fault in Our Stars, written by John Green in 2012, opens as a movie on June 6th. With an already outstanding amount of fans that are growing by the minute, this movie is destined to be a success. This story has brought tears and laughter at the same time, with great fame to the growing young adult writer, John Green. The book is more than just a story about a growing romance between two teens, but a brilliant and devastating coming of age novel about the lives of children with cancer. The two main characters, Hazel and Augustus, might happen to experience a disease that is deadly, but also show characteristics of average teens trying to find their way in life.
After announcing last year that the already popular book was going to be turned into a movie, the huge fan base automatically started predicting who would play the roles and how similar would the movie be to the book. Director Josh Boone chose Shailene Woodley for the character Hazel and Ansel Elgort for the character of Augustus. Fans showed their enthusiasm for the approaching film when within a day after the release of the first trailer in January; there had been over 3 million views of it around the world. Now reaching the final stretch having the wait almost over, fans anticipate and probably will receive a great show.
