Come to any regular Saturday football game and you will see the stands packed with students, parents, and die-hard Madisonians. However, on October 26th, the high school is going to change that. For the first time ever, the MHS Class of 2016 will be holding a Fan Fest aimed towards families. The fest will start at 11am (two hours before the game starts) and will bring a lot of spirit to the game. Though the high school cannot promise another flying banner, the school will have many other attractions. The Madison Marching Dodgers will be playing while youngsters are bouncing around on any of two inflatable rides. There will also be tattoos and face painting booths. Also present at the game will the booster clubs for all the teams selling Madison apparel. Come out and have some good old family fun and then watch the Madison High School football team face Lenape Valley. This is guaranteed to be a good time.
This is not the only fun event that the high school is offering this weekend. On Sunday the 27th the sophomore class will be hosting a trunk-or-treat. Families are invited to decorate their cars and dress up in costumes. From 3-5 pm the MHS parking lot will be packed with cars and kids. Refreshments and snacks will be provided. The sophomore class hopes that the parking lot will be filled given the youngsters a great experience.
