It’s that time of year again, and the Madison Dodger football team is more ready than ever. The Dodgers have won the past three state championships, and they are determined to win another this year. Senior Wilmo Mottola has been a starter since his freshman year, and since then he hasn’t experienced a loss. 37 games in the past 3 years have been won by the Dodgers, and Wilmo says, “its our time now,” as he enters his final season as a Dodger.
The Dodgers have been working harder than ever all summer. They had 2 weeks off from their last championship until conditioning started for this coming season. This summer was full of full-force workouts, two-a-days, and sweat.
Dover is a team that Madison beat last year 36-6, and today at 3 pm Madison will take on Dover on their turf, hoping to keep this winning streak alive.
